The Hunger Games (Hunger Games Series #1)
I read this book based on a recommendation from a friend of mine. I loved it! I felt like this was a quick read, only because it was such a good book I didn't want to put it down. Suzanne Collins did a great job of developing her characters, and there were plenty of surprising "no way!" moments. I have read this trilogy more than once, and I'm sure i'll probably read it again. This was a great first book for the series, and I'm already reading the second one.
